So… if you guys are in Sri lanka now, it must mean you are approaching SE Asia soon. I know Dan, you have been to Thailand before but I recommend going to the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai. This place opened my eyes about elephants all over SE Asia, not just in Thailand, and the horrible tourism trade that is “riding elephants”… This is the website: http://www.saveelephant.org/ It’s an excellent place and a safe haven for elephants. Lek is a great lady!
